About me

I've always loved writing and researching. I'm also a bit of a "word nerd", wanting to use just the right word in a sentence. I also prefer to be concise, so I won't add a lot of unnecessary fluff to your paragraphs. 

Cargo transportation

My background includes 15+ years working in the areas of imports and intermodal transportation for a couple shipping lines. I am also familiar with hazardous cargo and other transportation regulations. Plus, making bookings and arranging transportation while working for a couple of exporters.

I also used to coordinate import cargo exams with U.S. Customs, USDA as well as the Coast Guard when needed.

Tech

I have several years experience in website support, as well as using open source software (currently Ubuntu Linux) on my home computer and laptop. I have also dabbled a bit in learning some html, php, sql and css for a previous website.

My other interests include gardening and cooking, as well as natural health. That gives me the ability to write about a wide range of topics, in addition to transportation or tech.
